For in vitro immunized HIV epitope-specific CD8+T cells, preliminary data demonstrates that cultures propagated for longer periods of time (>60 days) express high levels of PD-1. In contrast, early cultures express little or lower levels of PD-1. For this project, Dr. Kan-Mitchell's group will deliver at least 3 million each of PD-1 hi and PD-2 lo tetramer-binding CD8+T cells from 3 or more donors.
