This project will examine pediatric depression and the long-term behavioral consequences of early life exposure to fluoxetine, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor. Antidepressant exposure during adolescence may alter responses to stress, drug-rewarded behaviors, and memory, thus providing evidence on the potential risks of antidepressant exposure during adolescence.
