TMAC Paso del Norte (PdN) is seeking funding to grow its expertise and knowledge of key technologies and strategies to serve a wider range of manufacturers by addressing the four focus areas aligned with NIST MEP. We plan to establish new relationships, conduct targeted assessment, develop implementation plan and evaluate impact across advanced manufacturing, supply chain, cybersecurity, and workforce development. TMAC PdN plans support the development and delivery of the services focused on the aforementioned four initiatives for strengthening the manufacturing industrial base. TMAC will continue to scout and include relevant companies in the Sustainment Platform for supplier development and new business creation. Cybersecurity awareness sessions will organized and delivered using best practices developed through the statewide COE. A new field staff specializing in systems integration and automation will be recruited to address a need to support small and medium manufacturers in their digital manufacturing and automation journey. Traditional offering in Lean Six Sigma Certifications, Quality management systems (QMS), Project Management, Manufacturing Supervisor Certification, etc. will be expanded to achieve stated goals. TMAC PdN will leverage established partnerships and collaborations with organizations that help our center and through this finding will continue to participate in regional manufacturing conferences and networking opportunities to increase outreach and generate more leads and opportunities for the center. TMAC PdN will increase its presence at events sponsored by such organizations as El Paso Chamber of Commerce, El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, City and County Economic Development Offices, The Borderplex Alliance, and El Paso Community College. Finally, the center will continue to leverage referrals and subject matter expertise from UTEP's W. M. Keck Center for 3D Innovation, Mike Loya Center for Innovation and Commerce, and Research Institute for Manufacturing and Engineering Systems (RIMES).
