The North American Power Symposium (NAPS) is a student-centric technical conference in the power and energy area. It has been bringing together students, faculty, and researchers since its inception in 1969. The conference is held annually in a university in the United States or Canada. The University of Texas at El Paso will host the 56th North American Power Symposium (NAPS 2024). The University of Texas at El Paso was selected through a competitive bidding process by the 2021 NAPS Steering Committee during their meeting in College Station, TX. The objective of this funding request is to support student activities and students housing at NAPS 2024. The conference will be held from October 13 to 15, 2024, in the Union Building of The University of Texas at El Paso.
