This project will study the effect of poor wastewater management in the overall increase in antibiotic resistance in the region. The Rio Grande carries antibiotic resistant bacteria, which could lead to serious health consequences for those who ingest this water. The team will analyze the water in the Rio Grande and propose viable solutions to this challenge.
