UTEP is partnering with New York University (lead), University of Washington D.C. and Rutgers to establish a Tier 1 University Transportation Center named Connected Cities for Smart Mobility towards Accessible and Resilient Transportation or C2SMART. The Center will adopt a system-of-systems approach that integrates road, transport service, energy grid, financial, information, and other urban networks. C2SMART will address urban mobility problems from multimodal perspective to achieve efficiency, resiliency, accessibility, and sustainability.
