Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center (TMAC) strengthens the competitiveness of Texas manufacturers by delivering training, technical assistance, and practical support to improve operations and performance. Services prioritize small to mid-sized firms, including rural manufacturers that often lack affordable access to specialized expertise. Assistance spans lean manufacturing and lean office practices, technology solutions, strategic management, quality systems, environmental practices, and workplace safety. A public-private partnership model blends federal support with partner funding and client fees, extending reach and sustaining services statewide. Work with participating companies emphasizes continuous improvement and long-term growth, while strengthening supplier relationships between large and small manufacturers to keep more economic value circulating within Texas. Results are designed to deliver measurable benefits to customers and strengthen the state economy.
