The purpose of this project is to design, pilot and conduct a training workshop based on the training received from the NLM titled "Community Health Maps" during the past month of June. This workshop highly motivated the author of this proposal to further disseminate the methods and techniques of using low-cost mapping tools to enhance and enrich graduate students of the Masters in Public Health program at the University of Texas at El Paso, who are already engaged in community health data collection.
