Description:
This patent application embodies a formula comprises a 5,5,7,7,tetramethyl-4,5,6,7 tetrahydrothieno [2,3-c]pyridine derivative to treat subjects infected by parasites. The dosage and concentration is nontoxic and does not cause serious side effects that requires close monitoring of the patient. This compound can be formulated to help a patient who lives in an area where the parasites are regularly found, or is at risk of parasite infection.

Abstract:
The present disclosure relates generally to systems, methods, and compounds for therapeutic use against parasitic infections. More particularly, the disclosure relates to anti-parasitic compounds, and methods for making and for using the anti-parasitic compounds, where the anti-parasitic compounds have the general formula: where X, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, and R6 are defined more fully.
