UTEP Earns NSF Grant for Student Researchers

The National Science Foundation (NSF) recently awarded a $27,000 grant to The University of Texas at El Paso’s Wendy Francis, Ph.D., professor of psychology, who will use the funds to support students who will conduct research on bilingual language and memory processes for her ongoing NSF research grant.

She also will use the money to contribute to student conference presentations and manuscripts, as well as to help them complete an honors thesis.
